Compensation
Compensations carried out with the maximum technology and logistics that guarantee the growth of the trees
The Red de Arboles Foundation was born in 2015, after the desire to support the conservation of our ecosystems.
Our sole purpose is to plant trees in areas affected by human activities and/or natural disasters.
Since 2015 we have planted approximately 30,000 trees in different parts of the country, such as Envigado, Santa Helena, Lebrija, Cali and Barranquilla.
The Tree Network Foundation has different places suitable for restoration and conservation of ecosystems, these points are characterized by being of high ecological importance and, in turn, by their great value to society.
These are the main places it will be planted in Mexico:
Technique
A technical visit is carried out to learn about the topographical and climatic conditions of the place, in order to choose the most suitable planting design and forest species.
After the planting day, the data corresponding to the characteristics of the planted species is taken, that is, coordinates, height, DBH diameter and phytosanitary status; which allows a correct monitoring of the seedlings.
Software
The Red de Arboles Foundation manages a software that is in charge of carrying out the control and logistics of forest compensations, which includes:
monitoring
Each organization can choose the monitoring frequency, which ranges from 1-3 months, depending on the characteristics of the terrain.
During the monitoring, a simple maintenance is carried out that consists of: Fertilization, plating, pruning, herding, fertilization and fumigation (if necessary).
Reports
The Red de Arboles Foundation delivers follow-up reports that contain detailed information on the compensation carried out.
These reports contain:
Mobile App
The software complement is the App that allows monitoring from the cell phone, thus making field data collection easier.
Future
In 2018 Porvenir and the Red de Arboles Foundation joined forces to plant 5,000 trees in Barranquilla, Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Cali and Medellín. Achieving the figure of 1,500 trees planted in half a day!
